Keon Rabbani and Mark Chaisson Contributed to a Paper Just Published in Nature Biotechnology

Keon Rabbani (left) and Mark Chaisson (right) contributed to the paper “Scalable, accessible and reproducible reference genome assembly and evaluation in Galaxy”, just published in Nature Biotechnology. This study presents a platform enabling any researcher to create a high-quality de novo assembly using single-molecule sequencing (SMS) data, which allows to resolve sequences of multicopy genes. Mr. Rabbani developed analysis to determine the accuracy of multicopy gene assemblies. Read their paper here.
