Naomi Levine has joined the QCB section as core faculty. Dr. Levine is Gabilan Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences and Earth Sciences, and has been a member of the BISC department's marine and environmental biology (MEB) section since 2013. The Levine lab's research focuses on the interactions between climate and ecosystem composition and function. By combining biological, chemical, and physical observations with ecosystem models, she aims to elucidate the underlying mechanisms responsible for biogeochemical cycling in microbial ecosystems, and to identify climate-ecosystem feedback loops.
