Steve Kay has joined the QCB section as core faculty. Dr. Kay is also Director of USC's MESH Academy, Director of the USC Michelson Center for Convergent Bioscience, and a Provost Professor of Neurology, Biomedical Engineering, and Biological Sciences. He was the Dean of USC's Dornsife College from 2012 to 2015. The Kay lab's research focuses on the genetics and genomics of circadian rhythms, with work in widely divergent taxa, including mammals and plants. Dr. Kay is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and a fellow of the Royal Society
