Joining QBIO was one of the best decisions I made at USC. I will be attending UCLA for a PhD in Bioinformatics. I am extremely grateful for the support within the community and the amazing mentors that I've worked with.

"Just two weeks after arriving at USC, I switched into the QBIO major and could not have predicted all the opportunities that decision would create. I made amazing friends, have found many great faculty mentors, and am now planning to pursue a career in medicine and data science research, a combination I did not know existed. Thank you to all my classmates and mentors who have supported me throughout my time as a QBIO student at USC. I could not have made it to where I am today without your support and I will be attending medical school in the Fall."

"I will be taking a couple of gap years to work as an EMT before applying to medical school. I am looking forward to hopefully traveling during gap years as well. The QBIO program has been one of my favorite experiences at USC, satisfying my curiosity for both computer science and biology. As one of the first few students who joined the program, I loved being part of this growing, yet tight-knit community. In fact, some of my favorite classes and people I would not have found had I not joined the major. Thank you so much for building this program!"
